Mirror Bingo Buddies Show their True Colours

When you become a mirror Bingo “Bingo Buddy” you write in to tell them your story and if yours is chosen for publication, you can win a cheque for £500. The wonderful thing about this kind of sharing it that it encourages other people who may be lonely or need a little moral support to join these sites, in a word, they are “inspirational” and the writers deserve every penny of their rewards, it is not easy to bare your soul to strangers, no matter how cathartic this is.

Some of these life true stories are sad, some are funny and others are just about winning – one story which I really admired was from member “23Pastures”. She is granny Joyce Spencer and she is housebound, she is also 78 years old, she has also turned Mirror Bingo into her own generation game. She says that the site is her life and her family, she chats to her children and grandchildren while she plays and find out all the news about the great grandkids too. She has six children, sixteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren, and find that his is the best way to keep up with all the news.

Her family clubbed in together to buy her a laptop last September for her birthday and all the kids think she is so cool because she is the oldest person they know who uses the internet. She plays from her recliner and wishes her husband was alive to see her, but this is a true WTG story, and having a family like hers, as well as being a member of Mirror Bingo truly makes Joyce a winner! I hope she enjoys spending her £500.

In the meantime there have been some great winners who are Bingo Buddies at Mirror, and it is a big WD to “fruity1 from Carmarthenshire who got a lovely win in the Pharoahs Gold Progressive bingo game. A nice £3,024.83 jackpot was her prize and in just 41 bingo calls, a day before her birthday. With a birthday coming up on the 13th, she recons this is definitely not an unlucky number for her!
