There isn’t a shadow of a doubt that Internet bingo has a firm stronghold in the bingo business in the UK. They join the likes of Gala Bingo, Mecca Bingo, Bucky Bingo and others, in changing their online presence into an actual bingo operations site, and they have done it with a difference. Beacon Entertainment the owners of twenty four UK Adult Gaming Centers and six bingo clubs including the biggest bingo club in London – the legendary Beacon in Cricklewood, have finally gone online, and its about time. But I suppose, better late than never!
I have had a look at this new online bingo site and it is pretty simple; no tricky features, but it is the actual production of the site that makes it so different. They are the first to make use of “Site Hosts”, not computerized site hosts, real site hosts! This is a brilliant idea, and the first of its kind, from media consultancy “The Ideas Factory”.
TV presenter Emma Morton Smith and Bingo Manager Chris Drake, have been filmed, first in green screen at a studio, then dropped into the fabric of the site. They act like miniature people who show new members or visitors around; help them get to know what is going on, and this is an incredibly attractive feature. I can just see a whole load of other online bingo sites clamouring to use this technology when they do their revamps.
The fact that technology is changing so fast and that members of online bingo sites prefer a fully interactive experience are plus factors for the launch of this new site. Chris Drake is also by the way, the man responsible for innovating the launch and managing the new site.
